Easy drive to Gore Mountain!Cathy was an excellent host, and the check-in and check-out were convenient and stress-free.Close to the road and truck traffic therefore some car noise noticeable at night. "Coffee pot was not cleaned, 2 nd floor full bed has an old mattress and they said that they rolled into the middle. It’s an overall nice woodsy cabin. We would stay there again knowing what we’re in store for. A very fair price, with an excellent location to lake George and Gore mountain. Dogs welcome is a plus also "

"We had a wonderful stay in this recently remodeled house. The location was perfect -- just outside the hubbub of Lake Placid -- but close enough to make it convenient to run into town. The kitchen was recently remodeled and painted. The peninsula in the photos was removed, but wasn't missed. It opened up the room and plenty of counter space remains. "Beautiful place. Great location. Wonderful staff. King Waterfront Poolside room was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely however the lack of a microwave was disappointing and the Latazza coffee maker was horrible. It was so noisy and the coffee was awful. It would have been nice to have a decent cup of morning coffee in our room rather than having to walk outside and across the street to the main lobby. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
