My friend is recovering from surgery and this was a wonderful place to relax, cook, and just hang out. It would be even better in summer as two paddle boards and a small kayak are provided. "

"I love, love, love this place! This was my second stay, and I’m already planning my third (and beyond). Clean, quiet, comfy-cozy, convenient, carefully curated. Perfect for working on the road, extended stay or weekend getaway, HQ for day trips. Just right for singles, one couple, maybe families of three with one young one. Hostess is phenomenally easy to work/communicate with. Can’t be beat!"

It was exactly as advertised and the most stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in, We got spoiled cooking on the amazing gas stove! The cottage is about 20-25 min to Fairhaven historic district/Western WA and only 15 min to whatcom falls park, gorgeous this time of year! We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back! "Very comfortable property. Nice scenic view. We would stay here again. When asked a question, the owner was quick to respond. One note: the description did not make it clear that this is the bottom floor of a house. Everything is separate, but this should probably be clearer. We also had to ask about the refrigerator. Adding a picture of that would help. "

"Our room was just like the picture. We had lots of room and the bed was comfy. The shower head was rather low; I am 5’4 and it was at forehead level for me. The little balcony would be nice in the summer, but oddly enough we didn’t use it in 24 degree weather. It’s not far from town but it isn’t safe to walk on highway 20 so we drove in. Overall it was a nice stay. It is rustic, to go with the town’s theme, but we had everything we needed. "
