This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Guest access
Campers and their pets have access to all of our hiking trails with the exception of trails marked "Private Trail" leading to individual campsites and cabins--we do our best to ensure privacy:) You can drive your vehicle to this cabin other than winter, 550m from the winter parking area.
There are 3 other private cabins on this property, the "Algonquin Wolf," "Trackers Cabin," and the "Sarah Lesley;" all 3 are 4 season, off-grid with solar power.
Other things to note
Our nature trails are mostly hilly, so be prepared for a climb up, but enjoy the hike down on the way back. There is a picnic table lookout area at the top for a picnic or rest. There are steep drops in places. Please keep an eye on your children! The trails below the escarpment are more forested and have little or no hills. They are excellent for viewing birds and seeing animal tracks.
Cell service available: cabins and campsites are located close to a cell tower. Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please keep them close or on a leash so that they do not chase the deer:)
