Pete and Bonnie are so accommodating with my asthma they made this stay better than I could imagine. This cottage is roomy, comfy and close to everywhere you would like to go. "Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The management company, Evolve, has been extremely dismissive and will only give me a refund worth 1/4 of the daily total, even though I gave notice, asked for a refund, and...

"We had such a nice time, we stayed an extra day. This was the perfect getaway home to spend a casual thanksgiving weekend in. A quiet, comfy home right on the edge of the inlet was so perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, and the hosts replied quickly to my questions. As far as location, you aren’t right in Shelton, which is great. We visited, but definitely preferred the quiet of this location. Thank you! "

"The lake was beautiful, but the property didn’t feel very clean (stained cloth furniture, spider webs). The quality of the pots/pans was awful for what I paid for the rental fees and not much was provided for disposables like tissues, dish soaps. There were a lot of laundry pods, and the laundry room was very spacious."

"This is a beautiful home located in a wonderful area that is well maintained, stocked and charming. We absolutely loved our stay and would return. For those who may have issues it is a corner property located partly on a busy street which can be noisy at nighttime. However if the AC is running or you use a white noise app it probably wouldn’t be any trouble at all. "
