"The staff are friendly attentive and on it!! So clean and I mean deep cleaning everyday I watched for 4 days and let me tell you when you witness an employee on her hands and knees cleaning a base board and elevator walk pad I was impressed! Breakfast was great minus eggs over cooked omelets and the sausages all under cooked yes BROWN THEM DUDE or DUDET lol all serious great clean hotel and breakfast was yummy . Bed hard as a rock only flaw I bought air mattress laid on top made it 4 nights while in Visiting my friend. Great place great people"

"Had a great experience at our recent stay at Lloyd's on the River Country Inn. Drove up from Florida and booked last minute on Expedia, got the last double queen river view room available, room 110. The staff was extremely kind and got us checked in when we arrived in the quiet hours of around 10 pm. They had a list of great places in the area that were good to eat, and I can say with confidence that Peter's Pancakes were fantastic and that breakfast did indeed slap. Our room was definitely older and a little worn, but you can tell that it has been well loved over the years. Was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and mini fridge. The heat worked great, and we did not have any problems with any of the amenities. The porch and river view are one of the bigger highlights of the stay, and the inn is located pretty much the same distance between the main hub area towns of cherokee and bryson City. I think a small amount of TLC would take these rooms from a 9.8 to a true 10/10 but for the price, you can not beat the value. When we were out in town, we stopped at a chocolate shop and mentioned we were staying here and the cashier said "oh they're good people" just adding to the warm fuzzies I already felt about our stay. I hope that this inn is very successful and sticks around for many years to come, because I would love to come back one day."

"We stayed here for one night to go on the Polar express train ride. This property was very conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice with coffee waffles. And cereal. The staff was very nice and helpful."

"This cabin is by far, the most amazing cabin we have stayed in. My family and I rent a cabin every year for our annual Thanksgiving vacation. Our family members range in age from 17 to 80 so multiple amenities are a must to keep everyone entertained. Gaylene's cabin provided that and so much more! The cleanliness, the beautiful decorations to include a lovely Christmas tree, the attention to detail was so impressive. There was more than enough room for everyone and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and linens. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the theatre in the basement with comfortable seating as well as the game room with ping pong, pool, darts and so much more. The cabin also has a great jacuzzi where you can relax and take in the amazing views of the lake. As a bonus, the cabin also has a beautiful sauna with different scents and oils of your liking. We definitely felt very spoiled. The kitchen is fully stocked and the dining area was perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner gathering. I was very impressed with how quickly Gaylene resonded when the fuse went out in the master bedroom. She is friendly, communicative and extremely thoughtful. I recommend this cabin 100% and I can definitely see us coming back!"

"Stayed here with a couple friends coming from the suburbs of a big city. Everything about this property is perfect for those looking to explore more rural America while maintaining a semblance of home. The cabin itself was very accommodating and stocked with just about everything you could want for a vacation rental. However, the "backyard" of this property was the highlight for the majority of our nights spent featuring a natural firepit with plenty of provided firewood, a hot tub, propane grill—all surrounded by hilly forestry and a calm little creek. The area was perfect for spontaneously exploring various trails and overlooks within a 30-60 minute drive. Lastly, this "neighborhood" of cabin rentals strikes the sweet spot between privacy and reassurance that you aren't completely secluded—something that may be important for first-time explorers of more rural areas like ourselves. Undoubtably planning on booking this cabin again!"
