Ocean Front Suite in Pacific Shores Resort

Nestled along the waters of beautiful Craig Bay, our 2 bedroom Ocean Front condo with Mountain Views is located in Pacific Shores Resort. Walk out the door and enjoy a stroll along the beach or enjoy a cocktail while taking in the sunset on our private deck. Fully equiped kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, induction burner and fridge can be used for breakfast, lunch and other light cooking and there are many local options for dine in and take out as well! Communal BBQ's also available steps away for guest use.

The condo itself is 700 square foot unit has been recently renovated with heated floors, gas fireplace and skylights. The space sleeps 6 but no more than 4 adults at one time.

Another amazing stay!
We've now had a second stay at this property and we still absolutely love it. We can see the additions and improvements that the owners are making - they truly know the gem they've got here and they are constantly making it even more perfect (new TVs, new fireplace - it goes on and on!). The layout of the unit is terrific: massive master bedroom with the most comfortable bed overlooking the deck and the bay and then the second bedroom (for the kids!!) at the back of the unit behind the kitchen area. The bathroom, laundry and hallway are between. The unit has been super tastefully decorated. This place is as close to Hawaii as you're going to get in Canada, in my opinion! It absolutely has that feel. And Pacific Shores Resort is incredible and pretty much offers everything now that the onsite restaurant is back open. There's the large, heated indoor pool and then an outdoor hot tub area (which is set within a faux mountain facade which is really nice!). There's also a fitness centre, playground, equipment rentals (kayaks, paddleboards etc). But not to be missed - the extensive trail network on the property and the waterfront bay access. If you're a runner or walker, this is the place for you - amazing runs throughout and nearby the property. If you want to watch the amazing Craig Bay sunsets- this is the place for you. They've built huge communal decks with chairs to just sit and enjoy the evenings. If you haven't stayed here yet, I highly recommend it!

Beautiful hidden gem
This was a beautiful resort with some amazing high and low tides. The place was nice with a great view. The evening got a little warm but when you headed down to eat by the water it was perfect.

Amazing views
We-2 adults and 3 kiddos- just spent a week at this unit. Very clean and the main bed is super comfortable. The only downsides were an unpleasant downstairs Karen and the lack of kitchen space. The fridge is tiny! Likely I misread the description of the kitchen. Otherwise a wonderful stay with very responsive hosts!

Easy to find and great location. The view from the main bedroom is amazing of the bay and sunsets. Kids loved having a separate bedroom with their own tv and netlix. Does not have a full size kitchen but was well appointed for our 2 night stay. The pool and hot tubs were great to use as well on the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Good location near Rathtreavor Beach. Many pleasant forest and beach walking trails nearby and on the resorts property. Accommodation was spotless, beds firm and bedding comfy. Just a heads up-the suite has in-floor heat so it takes awhile to warm up and it only has a partial kitchen.

Aloha! A touch of Hawaii without the flight
We stayed at the Aloha Cottage for a week in June 2023 and enjoyed all aspects of it. We hadn't done any real shopping when we arrived so we were happy to see a snack and water basket to enjoy, always a nice bonus wherever you stay. The suite had all the comforts of home for us with an added bonus of watching the sunset from the deck every evening. The resort is centrally located and was close for us to visit Nanaimo, Coombs, Courtenay and Campbell River. We enjoyed all the on-site amenities, especially the outdoor hot tub but also the restaurant and indoor pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Nanoose Bay. On a side note, we didn't have any issues during our stay but when I did send messages to the owner giving information, they were very prompt at responding to me :)
