Watch misty waves crash onto the shore of Myrtle Beach when you escape to this two-bedroom condo at the oceanfront Dunes Village Resort, where you'll be a matter of steps from gorgeous, golden sand.


This eighth-floor condo is located on the resort's north side, providing it with a side ocean view from its private balcony. On the grounds downstairs, you'll have access to an oceanfront swimming pool and kids' splash pool, an outdoor hot tub, a sundeck, a playground, and a boardwalk that connects you to the beach.


After a day spent boogie boarding and beachcombing, take the elevator upstairs to be greeted by central AC and a private washer/dryer awaiting your swimsuits and towels in the entryway. Down the hall is an inviting living area where wonderful sunshine and views of the Atlantic stream in through floor-to-ceiling windows and glass balcony doors. Enjoy an updated kitchen, a dining room table for four, and a cable TV for after-dinner movies.

Just right for a family fall getaway
We stayed with our three young kids for a fall beach getaway. The location was great and the amenities for kids was exactly what we were looking for. The unit is in a little rough shape, exactly what you would think for a high turnover rental. But it was clean and provided the space and beds we needed. We appreciated the full kitchen to use for our family. The proximity to the beach was perfect.

I loved the location and price we paid. Other than that, the room is pretty bad. So many minor issues that just kept adding up. In reality, the room is really run down and in dire need of a deep clean and serious maintenance.

Perfect location
It was wonderful. I brought my parents who are in their 70s. They could easily get around and enjoy the hot tubs and the beach. We had a room with a beach view. My dad was out there ever spare moment he had. The only issue I had was with the door lock. We were locked out two nights in a row. We had to wait for a new pass code. Took over an hour the second night we were locked out.

Mildew in grout triggered emergency checkout
Nice view of ocean but the sliding glass door track was filthy. We picked out a soda cap and popcorn but the grime was thick. Bathroom grout mildew triggered breathing episode so we left early. Emailed someone at vacasa but received no reply. Wifi never worked (tvs use Wi-Fi) we sent text and received reply: check to see that tv and box are plugged in. Sink constant drip. Wow! The first disappointing trip to Myrtle Beach and we go a couple times each year.

Unit was clean and as described. Plenty of room for my group. The teen girls didn’t even argue over the bathrooms. Everyone loved the Waterpark and beach access.
