Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children's Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Couple and dog fall trip
Dog friendly hotel with park next door. Convenient to take your dogs to go to the bathroom. Had a great view. Like that Starbucks is in the hotel and a restaurant. Can walk to couple of restaurants. Needs some updates and new coffee pot and lamps. They need to put instructions on what to do about towels . Would be nice to have a tv channel sheet. The guide has allot more channels they want the offer. Over all not bad

The hotel was nice, but when it came time to go to bed, I pulled down my sheets and the bed had sand all in it. I am sure it might have gotten in the dryer or something, but they had to bring me all new bedding. Once that happened and I changed my sheets, it was great. Not sure if the sheets were dirty or somehow had gotten sand in between the bedding.

Room mixup but overall great!
We love The Patricia Grand. We have been coming for years. The room was nice and clean and as expected. The staff are always nice and we love that we can bring our pet. I have no complaints but we were a little disappointed about the room mix up. When I booked the room, the pictures indicated it was a one bedroom and not a studio/efficient room. I was emailed the week before our trip and the picture with that room was not what I had paid for. I sent an email with screenshots showing the room with the confirmation#. The reply I got just said it was to late to switch rooms. I felt like it was a little bit of a bait and switch and my email was just dismissed. Despite this happening, our past experiences were great.

Did not meet my expectations...
The only positive point I can make about this resort would be the friendly staff. The pools heater was broken at the time of our stay. The elevators are a nightmare. Plan on checking out by 8 am just to be checked out by 10 am. Our room was filthy. Beds are broken down and need replaced, Mold in the sink. The metal door stopper on the floor in the bathroom is very dangerous. Water pressure was terrible in the shower. At one point maintenance had to come to our room due to the kitchen sink not draining correctly. Our toliet started backing up from no fault of our own. It was told to me that Floor 9 had an issue with sewage going down the hallway during our time as well, thankfully our floor didnt have this problem. This resort is definitely not a 3 star rating. I am highly disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. I expect to come stay and feel like I am staying in my home away from home. This place is far from that feel. The beach was full of sand fleas. Upon arrival one of the beds had a brown stain the size of a basketball. I called down to service and the only option they would give me is to move me up many floors higher. I explained with having 2 special needs children this was not feasible, I could only be on a lower level. My daughter was uncomfortable with the room so much that she kept telling me "Next time mom, please don't come here again." Had it not been during spring break and everything was booked, we would have been out of there the first night. Not worth your hard earned money! This resort is a Vacasa Fail.

Average at best
The best thing about the resort was the food service manager, Heaven, and her staff, especially those who worked in the kitchen and Jasmine who did the coffee bar in the lobby. There was no door on the closet, and the frame that was there was very rusty; The floor appeared to be clean visually but was actually filthy, same with the bathroom. Would not stay here again.

Arrived very late after long drive. Check service was slow. The room had a smell and the floor was wet and damp. Beds were horrible and made a noise every time you moved. View was great of the beach. Very expensive for the room.

Wonderful week
Good location to all Myrtle attractions & restaurants. Very nice to have our dog with us. (If not a dog lover, this is not your place) Pools were great, beach was beautiful. Room had all needed, bed comfy enough. Sliders were hard to open, but, hotel in process of replacing all the glass doors. Any improvement ideas? Better coffee options in the room or have complimentary coffee/water in lobby. Would highly recommend this hotel for a Myrtle Beach vacay!

Room disgusting!
Not clean furniture pathetic smelled like mold. It was so bad we did not even stay there. Poop in the elevator floor. Facility totally misrepresented. Lobby very dirty restrooms in lobby totally disgusting. I would not even stay there due to the disgusting condition of the room and the property. The pictures of the property are definitely not that hotel. Parking garage unbelievable. I had better get a refund or I will call my lawyer. The pictures that were shown were definitely not this property. Don’t waste your money on a property that was nothing like the pictures and I was told I was getting one of the better units. I would hate to see one of what they think is bad. I’ve traveled a lot and never had this kind of representation of a property. To get there and be entirely different than the pictures and information.

I visited on Monday and was disappointed to find the restaurant and gift shop both closed especially in the middle of summer. I wasn't very happy about the 10am check out time either. The text and email reminders made me feel a little rushed. Other places I have stayed was usually 11 or 1130. Staff were very pleasant. Probably wouldn't be my first choice when I visit myrtle beach again.

Friendly Staff
The only good thing about this hotel is the friendly and hard working staff. Also, the DJ they had by the pool on the weekends and the restaurant. The rooms are not updated, some missing doors, closet rods and sliding door tracks rusty, dirt in all corners of the rooms, stained chair and Ottoman. Silverware drawer kept falling out, the toaster was dirty. If your going for a fun time and don’t care about what your room looks like then this place is fine.

Not worth the money
