"Wow. We left two days ago and I am still stressed by our stay there. It was horrible. This is NOT a hotel (I will file a complaint with hotels.com shortly). It is a rental home with no amenities. No shampoo, conditioner, minimal low quality soap, no maid servive, no trash removal, no breakfast for purchase. There is no beach, just rocks and trash. There was one employee who clearly hated us the second we arrived. There were 1M ants everywhere and more mosquitos than there should have been even...

"Cedar Cottage is in an excellent location to get away from everything. A bit of a cross between glamping and camping due to the openness of cabins. More for the Sierra Club crowd and less the St. Regis crowd. Stayed with my daughter for 4 days in June and loved it. "The Sugar Mill is a beautifully designed, airy and pretty unique villa high up overlooking the sea and islands to the East of Bequia. Being high up it gets a very necessary cooling breeze. Bequia had suffered a long drought while we were there, so was less green than normal, but it was still lovely. Quirin was very welcoming and we could see what efforts he is making to maintain the Old Fort and the estate - quite a challenge! "Flamingo Villa is a terrific place to stay when visiting Bequia. The house, which is very comfortable, is in a terrific location: less than a minute to the beach and a ten minute walk to the main town. The owner, is extremely helpful and responsive. We booked for next year while waiting for our plane in the airport."

"From the booking process to leaving when we checked out, everything was top notch. The hosts arranged our transportation, which was a huge help not knowing the area. We appreciated the cleanliness, unique furnishings and setup of our particular room. The landscaping and grounds at Tropical Hideaway were lush and impeccably maintained. 5 stars!"

"This is a great place to stay if you want to check out the island and not be couped up. You can walk to the beach, you are centrally located to everywhere on the island. Great views! But the best part is that the owner (who was born on the island) will show you around the island and take you anywhere you want to go. He checks on you every day without being intrusive. You should really consider Friendship Garden Apartments if this is your first stay or if you are returning to the island. I recommend it for everyone!"
