Your Perfect Lake Michigan Get-away! So close to Lake Michigan The beach is only a 5-min walk away. We have pickleball rackets and courts at the park! You will find quiet beaches with beautiful hikes through the dunes. Pere Marquette beach; a lively beach scene with beach volleyball, kitesurfing, the Deck (Which has live music daily & amazing food), and boardwalk with great views of the light house. Lake Michigan sunsets can be yours every night, and when you return the hot tub will be ready!
The Space:
The house is settled on a large lot with a fenced in back yard which overlooks Muskegon's Country Club a beautiful golf course. The back yard has a large cement patio with a large grassy area to relax with friends and family. Gas grill and fire pit with several bundles of wood included for relaxing summer nights after the beach. Corn hole and croquet for some friendly competition is stored in the garage. Are you a pickleballer? We have set of four rackets and courts are just up the road. Back half of the yard is wooded and typically full of wildlife in the mornings. Feed the birds, squirrels, and deer with some of the extra seed kept in the garage. Large hot tub which accommodates 7 comfortably. Three bedrooms; two queen beds, one full, and one twin bed. One full bath and half bath, plus a mud room. Downstairs has a game room with a ping-pong table, fitness area, and washer and dryer. The house best accommodates seven but if your group has eight you have a couple options to consider; the eighth could either sleep on the couch or a queen size air mattress will be available for your use which can be found in the closet of the bedroom with the bunk bed. We encourage guests to bring bikes, or reach out and we can point you to several businesses we partner with for normal and e-bike rentals; as bikes are a great way to explore during your stay. HAVE A BOAT? Bring your boat and explore the waterways. One could spend their entire stay enjoying the numerous beaches, lakes, and lake front bar and restaurants that can be accessed by boat; oh and the fishing out of the port of Muskegon, Muskegon lake, and Muskegon river is known as one of the best fisheries in the state. Countless parks, hikes, beaches, and bike paths all within a 3 mile radius. Michigan's Adventure roller coaster and theme park, USS Silversides submarine museum, and nightlife are all additional things to experience. There is always fun events happening nearly every weekend at the Port of Muskegon!
