"We made a great choice in choosing the Riverfront Retreat for our Thanksgiving celebration. The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. One bedroom is set apart from the others which worked perfectly for one couple who ducked out at 5am to catch a flight out of Dulles (about an hours drive) without disturbing others in the group. "My extended family of 10 stay for the week. With 5 active kids ages 9-12 there was plenty of kayaks, tubes, and canoes for them to use. The river is calm in front of the house. Yes the hill to the water is steep but it wasn’t an issue for any of us. The porch rocking chairs on the screened porch was wonderful for drinking coffee and watching the river every morning.
