"We had trouble with the check in email/location information and property access code. It took over an hour to get the situation sorted out. Once it was fixed, the rest of the stay was fine. The property is cute and well maintained. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of check in and length of time we had to dedicate to it"

"My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"We love the Thunderhead Lodge and have stayed in many of the rooms. We love this place. The only thing I could say negative is that the pool is no longer 102 degrees. The heater doesn’t work as well and they’ve tried to fix it but it isn’t working still. It was about 92 degrees according to the owner who’s in a law suit with the company that fixed it. So hopefully they get it back to where it was because if it’s windy outside at all during the winter, it’s unbearable to go in."
