« A friend & I came to Bendigo for the Frida Kahlo exhibition at Bendigo Gallery. We enjoyed a lovely couple of days relaxing & walking around the town. The town was well geared up with a Freda theme & welcomed visitors wholeheartedly. Mark was very responsive to our requests; the cottage was easy to access, comfortable & a short walk to places to eat, shop & the beautiful gardens. We would happily stay at Barnard St cottage again. »

« The photos don’t do this gorgeous place justice! We loved our stay. Super comfy, relaxed and great spaces. Each day was over 30 degrees and this sandstone gem stayed cool and comfortable throughout. We walked into town each evening, ! cooked breakfast at home and had a cheese platter under the grape vine in the evening. Perfect! Thanks Tobbie »

« Great position, close to everything, parking next to room, beds were good, aircon worked well. The only downside is dangerous bathrooms. Extremely slippery with water (and especially with soap) on shower and bathroom floor. Not suitable for anyone with any sort of balance issues. There was a warning sign regarding slippery floors, but I was still surprised how slippery they were. »
