The Moretti House was the canal-side home of poet and author Marino Moretti, who was born here in 1885. Today, the house serves as a museum related to 20th-century Italian literature, with a focus on Moretti’s novels, manuscripts and poems. Check out Moretti’s collected writings and books that are preserved in this museum. Find out about his pre-eminent works, The Voice of God and Widow of Fioravanti. Photos of the writer, recognizable in his early years by his mustache and side-swept hair, adorn the interior walls. Inspect the period décor and original furniture from Moretti’s time in the house. Piece together his life through various personal belongings and ornaments.

Find the Moretti House right beside the Viale Giuseppe Mazzini bridge on the northern side of the canal in central Cesenatico. You can reach the district by bus from the rest of the town.
