It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room.
