"Ninnetta's house was clean as can be. Carmine, the owner, had his mom meet us. The whole village seems to know one another, it is that small! As we were having difficulty finding the address as there are 2 stairways that go up to the apartment, I asked a man if he knew where it was and we happened to be right at Carmine's sister's door, so he knocked, she told us Mom was on her way and where the apartment was. "We truly enjoyed this quaint suite. Location was perfect for us: beautiful views, charming town, good proximity to Amalfi Coast, Naples, Pompeii, and Salerno. You can take a ferry from Salerno to main towns on Amalfi Coast and Capri. Just keep in mind that having a car (the smaller the better) is a must for this location. Parking spot is included with rental which is perfect. The house is located in a private gated compound with breathtaking views. We would come back in a heartbeat. "

Lovely Gem of a hotel in an unexpected place

"Stuck amongst rather run down B & B type establishments is this lovely 4 star hotel, with fantastic staff, tennis court, own beach, pool and a good restaurant. Chosen for it's central location between towns and handy shuttle service to the train station to visit local attractions, we felt very lucky we found such a gem. It is noticeable who is running the restaurant, when it's Mario everything runs very smoothly, when he has a day off and Gino steps up it does become a little Faulty Towers...but in an Italian way, we would definitely use here again when in the same part of Italy."

"This is one of my favorite hotels in Southern Italy, it’s definitely my favorite in Salerno. Some rooms are being renovated and I’ve stayed in both, the older ones are nice and the new ones are pretty cool! The hotel’s breakfast is also the best I’ve had anywhere and it comes with the room complimentary."
