"I was looking for something that was clean, inexpensive, and close to Wolf Creek Ski Area. The 4 Seasons was perfect for what I needed. Although the facilities are a little outdated, it was clean and had all I needed. The water pressure can be a little unpredictable sometimes, but, overall, I had a good experience and would recommend it to others."

"This retro motel isn't what most roadside motels are like. The rooms have been refurbished and updated. The entire place had sort of a hipster mod feel. We stayed in a double Queen suite. Perfect amount of roominess for a family of 4 traveling with snow ski gear. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean and roomy. "We stayed at the Rustic Rook due to the proximity to Great Sand Dunes NP. It was extremely quiet, as it was during the week just after labor day -- only one other tent was occupied, which made it relaxing but also a little scary! We stopped in Alamosa for some easy dinner options, but the other couple staying at the time took advantage of the resorts option to have dinner items to grill. It was VERY windy and it rained off an on but the tents stayed dry inside and warm with the wood-burning...
