"I booked this rental for a few of our employees who had a project in the area. They had a great stay. The house was perfect for them. Amanda was the best communicator. We had no issues with our reservation or the house. It was a lovely place to stay for our employees."

"Well what to say! The positive is the little cabin was clean. The bedding horrible. No outside area to sit. cabins across the street and a couple up the hill sat outside our cabin smoking “several” different types of things. No on site management so no way to get help with this situation as they also had 2 loud dogs. There was a piece of paper on the table saying “No internet, except in cabin 9”. And that we could go 1/2 mile down road to restaurant. My daughter had work to do so we went to the restaurant and it was cute one the lake.However there was an 80 year old man playing on a keyboard singing so off key it hurt. He was oblivious to people’s reactions and he was scheduled to do this for hours so we left because it was so loud and horrible it gave my granddaughter a headache. The BLT sandwich we thought about ordering was priced at $32! We left and drove the 40 minutes to turn in our keys at Shaver Lake. Owner was very apologetic and offered to pit us in a king size bed there, no thanks. Of note do not follow their directions to pick up keys at Huntington Lake restaurant as they need to be picked up at Shaver Lake Hotel. I only knew this because I had reached out ahead of our reservation to Dawn and she mentioned to pick up our keys with her. Our poor neighbors in next door cabin had to go back around to Shaver which is 40 minutes each way. Why don’t they update their website? All the amenities on Hotel.com that they say are connected with this cabin is FALSE. "

"Great cooking supplies in the kitchen! Beautiful view, quiet location. Comfortable beds. Small grout problem in the upper bathroom. Recommend exterminator for the mouse problem. "

"We loved the location and the neighborhood was quiet. The view from the deck was lovely. We used the outdoor grill and loved the fully stocked kitchen. Huntington lake was less than a mile away and we enjoyed waking to the lake in the evenings. The house was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for 3 families with young children. We loved the historical decor and overall charm of the house. I feel the house could have been cleaner, we found some crumbs on the bed covers and candy/crumbs underneath the bed in one room and in the cupboards, but otherwise pretty clean throughout. Our main issue was the bottom fridge did not work properly and the food we had stored spoiled after a day. Also, there are no smart tvs throughout the house. But again, we were not there to watch a lot of tv so it was a minor inconvenience. Overalll, a nice stay and we would recommend. "

"We all enjoyed the property once we found it. There is no address on the buildings, just the condo #.The property could use a good deep cleaning, inside and out. The tile floors need to be mopped/steamed. We wanted to use the outdoor table and chairs to eat our dinners but they were too dirty and there was nothing to clean them with and no hose to spray them off. Some of the windows and all of the sliding doors need screens so that you can open up to cool off. While we were there it was very warm and at times the main living area reached 91 degrees. It was difficult to bring the temperature down in the evening because there was no screen on the sliding door."
