"The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...

"The property wasn't very clean and had the personal effects of the home owner in piles on the various patios. There was a pool slide that didn't seem safe to use near the pool with wasps living in and the pool wasn't very clean. There was no drinking water provided. The fridge was not plugged in or cold. There was a dog on the property that was not listed in the description. I tried to receive pictures of the additional bedrooms from the host for months before hand but she never sent them and...

"We had a wonderful time! The cottage is close to the pool, a short walk to the beach, and a short Tuk Tuk ride to some great local restaurants and an ample supermarket! It was everything I anticipated! The bed was super comfy, and nice to have air conditioning overnight! Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and pans etc. Everyone on the little compound were so helpful, and offered additional support, advice and recommendations! I look forward to returning! "

"Terrible and a scam! We were placed in a house that was not the one in the photos. It’s not even a question of a worn down condition of the same house the owner took the liberty to place my party including (3) children in one of two houses in the property with the shared pool and didn’t confess until the end of 1st night when I called her over to ask what was going on as the condition and the design were completely different. "Die Anzeige hatte nahezu überhaupt nichts mit dem tatsächlichen Objekt zu tun. Klimaanlage, TV und weitere in der Anzeige erhaltene Geräte waren nicht vorhanden. Die Sauberkeit war sehr schlecht, der Pool in einem renovierungsbedürftigem Zustand. Es war mir nicht möglich in diese Unterkunft zu bleiben, habe mir eine Alternative gesucht. "It's a beautiful house and amazing pool. Loved it. Everything and the house was great. I was a little disappointed that there was only a half a roll of toilet paper and I had to use tissues I had in my backpack. Thank God I had some. The living room was super hot. No AC and the fans can't even cool that area. The monkeys are insane. "We loved the room. It was a three bedroom pent house and it included a balcony view overlooking the ocean. I did not want to leave. I plan to come back and stay for a full week. Loved everything about our room and the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. "

"The property was absolutely beautiful. It was truly a living paradise. They kept the grounds and the pool very well maintained. They service the rooms daily, if you request it, meaning fresh linen on a daily basis. The property was absolutely perfect. However, it paled in comparison to the staff. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. They honestly didn't seem to be able to do enough for you. My fiancé and I, at one point, we're having a conversation about how they made us, just she and I, feel special. We knew (and could see) they treated everyone the same, but we still felt as if we were being singled out as their favorite couple. Severin Sea Lodge was the perfect location for our vacation, but the staff gave us a home. To the staff, I just want to say, Thank You for a perfect three weeks!"

Restful stay close to the city

"Modern hotel with large pool and a good selection of restaurants. Good view of the city especially at dawn and sunset. There is a beach but not sure about water quality. Pool was good but a shower in the changing room would be useful. Room fairly small but well equipped. Glass door and window to the bathroom is ok for privacy but the light wakes the other occupant at night Not cheap but worth the cost "
