"Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights
Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff.
Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari.
Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up.
Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book.

"The whole experience was fabulous from the accomodation to the food, cooking classes and safari as well as a personal tour from Janice the owner. As a solo traveller I was well and truly spoilt. I would highly recommend Amba Cola to anyone looking to stay in this area. "
"The staff here go above and beyond, the ‘glamping’ experience was great. Food was really nice but quite expensive. The safari company run joint with the camp was amazing and extremely well run. The downside to this accommodation is that I would say it is only accessible via tuk tuk or car it’s not in walking distance to shops / other restaurants. "
"Situation geographique geniale à côté du parc. L hotel organise votre safari. Belle chambre tres propre avec eau chaude. La piscine et salle de restaurant sont des endroits agréables. On mange tres bien mention spéciale pour les crepes à la noix de coco"
"Such a lovely little place to stay for the night. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so kind and lovely, the home cooked food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka.
They also arranged a safari for us, we had a jeep to ourselves, and saw many animals (elephants, monkeys, mongoose).
All in all a fabulous experience, and incredible value for money.

"A true jungle hideout with an excellent pool, scenic river embankments and nice local and infernational food. The staff were great too. Perfect for seeing Udawalawe National Park."

"The most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. The pool is great, but the beach is just to die for. Miles of empty beach in both directions from the hotel. We did however notice quite a few plots being developed nearby, so this might not continue.
Staff were all great and helpful. The food was amazing.
Devilled tuna and fresh Mahi Mahi were a favourites!
One evening we went to a nearby beach and watched turtles lay their eggs and return to the sea. It was like being in a nature programme."

"The service is impeccable, from arrival, to drinks at the beach to breakfast. The property appears to be relatively new, the rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. "

"A wonderful stay at Mansala, with very friendly and helpful hosts. We had a room with balcony and two double beds for us and our son. The owner was able to arrange our safari, taxi and trip to the Elephant Transit home. All very close by. Excellent communication. They organised some water for the early morning safari and breakfast on our return. Freshly cooked and plentiful breakfast. The family were generous with their hospitality"
