"This was a lovely and very convenient hotel to stay at. It was a 3-4 min walk from Hakone-Yumoto station for the train and buses. The property is beautiful. The public bath is a nice touch even though this is not a ryokan. Two items to note: 1) most activities are a bit further away from the hotel so definitely get the Hakone freepass to travel. 2) a lot of things shut down by 6pm. I wasn't prepared for this as a night person. Plan to be out and about early and to have an early dinner (or use the nearby konbini). That aside, great location and hotel."
