LOW FEES! Bear Pause Mineral Bluff, GA near Blue Ridge GA, east TN, and west NC

Bear Pause cabin is located in the quiet Laurel Springs Subdivision 11 miles outside of downtown Blue Ridge and is convenient to Ellijay (27 miles), Blairsville (25 miles), Copperhill TN (9 miles), and Murphy NC (19 miles). Access roads are primarily paved with the final road being well-packed gravel. Four-wheel drive is not necessary to reach the cabin. We ask guests to obey the 10 MPH speed limit to keep the road in good condition, as this is a private road and is not county maintained.

The Bear Pause main entry is accessed either by steps or ramp. The front door enters into the open dining, kitchen, and living area on the main floor. The dining table seats four, while the kitchen has counter seating for two. The kitchen is equipped with side-by-side refrigerator/freezer; electric stove with smooth cooktop; microwave; dishwasher; coffee grinder and drip coffee maker; Keurig coffee maker; four-slice toaster; blender; various cookware, bakeware, and cooking utensils; eight place settings of dinnerware; hot beverage mugs; and various cold beverage glasses. The living area focal point is the gas log fireplace. There is plenty of comfortable seating for playing one of our board or card games, watching tv, or just enjoying one another's company. There is both front and rear access to the main level porch, which wraps around three sides of the cabin. This porch has outdoor seating, a gas grill, a fire table, and a picnic table. A bathroom with combination tub and shower and a queen bedroom is also on the main level. This arrangement is perfect for guests who find stairs to be challenging.

Stairs to the upper level take you directly into a designated workspace. To the right is the entry into the upstairs queen bedroom and bathroom suite. This bedroom has access to a private rear balcony with seating. The upstairs bathroom has a jetted bathtub and walk-in shower.

Stairs to the lower level take you to the downstairs game room and hangout area and give you immediate access to the lower-level back porch. The game room and hangout area are equipped with comfortable seating, a tv, electric fireplace heater, table for playing games or eating, games and puzzles, and a 60 in 1 video arcade.

At Bear Pause, we take your health and well-being seriously. We allow 24 hours between bookings. Our housekeeping team sanitizes all indoor and outdoor high-touch and fabric surfaces with sanitizing cleansers and sprays. Our linens are laundered and sanitized in-house after each booking.

At Bear Pause cabin, guests are within minutes of all that the tri-state area has to offer: over 106,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest, over 300 miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, four lakes, over 100 miles of trout streams, the Toccoa and Ocoee Rivers, the Appalachian and Benton Mackaye Trails, Vogel and Amicalola Falls State Parks, Brasstown Bald, apple orchards, mini farms, wineries and craft breweries, a drive-in movie theater, horseback riding stables, restaurants, boutique and upscale shopping, art galleries, indoor and outdoor mini golf, seasonal zip-lining and tubing, gem mining, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association Art Center, the Hiawassee Fairgrounds, John C. Campbell Folk School, and much more.

My boyfriend and I loved staying here. It was a perfect romantic getaway that we needed. The house was beautiful and the view was amazing!! I have been in several cabins before and the thing I loved the most was there was an informational book left out that gave you an overview of the area, dinning, and things to do. Will stay here again if given the chance!!!

Relax in the mountains
Bear Pause is the most beautiful and well equiped cabin we've stayed in . The entire process from booking to check out was faultless. The cabin is well equiped with plenty of unexpected and thoughtful extra touches. Waking in the morning to bird song and the view across the valley will be a long cherished memory

Great Cabin with Beautiful Views
We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The views from the balconies were breathtaking. Anything we might have needed was already provided in the kitchen and the informational binder on the coffee table gave us all the information needed for visiting Blue Ridge. This is easily one of the cleanest cabin rentals we've ever stayed at.

Everything Excellent
Bear Pause was the best cabin we've stayed at in 12 years of staying in cabins in North Georgia. Lots of helpful information on how to work everything in the cabin. Everything was incredibly clean. Everything was new. Overall an excellent cabin experience. Everything we needed for a great weekend.

Great place!
It’s great place to stay! Very neat and have thought of every small detail and every need of guest! They have crockery, cookware, water, cleaning supplies etc. only thing we found little disappointing is the grill wasn’t clean and the patio lights didn’t work. Nothing that cannot be fixed quickly. Overall great experience

Wonderful!
We had a great stay at Bear Pause. The cabin was immaculate and so well decorated and appointed. The view was incredible! We woke up the second morning to find that the heat had stopped working. I texted the property manager at around 11:00 and they had it fixed by 12:30. I doubt we could have had that kind of service at the Ritz ; ). We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful
We stayed at Bear Pause for 10 days. It was great!! If you like to be up on a mountain with a great view this is the place to be. The cabin was great!! The beds were very comfortable. I think the best part was how quiet it was sitting outside and relaxing. If you're looking for the fall colors wait till end of October to early November. Thanks again Velma you have a beautiful place!!

Favorite Place to Stay in the Mountains
My wife and I have been heading to the mountains each October for the past 14 years. This is the only cabin in which we've stayed multiple times. It's clean, it's comfortable, it's well appointed, it's conveniently located, and the management is great to work with. Cannot recommend this cabin strongly enough. Our favorite place to stay in the mountains!
