"This is a great venue. It is affordably priced, conveniently located, artfully maintained in accordance with it original style (wooden floors and picket rail porch, antique furniture, etc.). I felt unique and pampered in my room. I even heard a train whistle nearby in the early wee hours of the morning, reassuring and comforting rather than disturbing. I hope to return for a longer stay."

"The property is pretty impressive. You actually feel like you are entering an old Nordic village. It’s not cheesy, it’s very authentic. The cabin was really cozy and delightful. Loved the fireplace. The male owner was very kind and accommodating. My only complaint is that at 11:00 on the nose someone knocked on my door to check out. I was literally on my way out. The place wasn’t full and I drove in a snowstorm to get there, so I felt that was premature. I never experienced that before, so I was taken aback a little. But on the whole it was a great experience."
