"We did enjoy are stay. The setting is private & peaceful. It would have been perfect except for a few things. There were no reviews when we booked as it was a new listing. There were some important truths missing from the listing at the time. Hopefully it has since been updated so others will know what they are in for & can make a more informed choice. Things to know: there is no electricity. The lights in the pictures are from solar panels; there is a very cool outdoor shower but it is cold...

"Beautiful property, accommodations and people. Our grandkids enjoyed the tire swing, playing in the creek tiding the golf cart and petting the barn animals. The teepee maintained a comfortable temperature even in the cool October nights. King sized bed super comfy. "My family enjoyed this property immensely. A secluded cabin in the woods but with all the comforts of home made everyone happy. My husband enjoyed fishing in the river while the kid explored the shoreline and rock hunted. We made outdoor campfires and s’mores, and snuggled up by the indoor fireplace with books. Be aware it is a long driveway, so any plans out and about take a bit longer. The Food Lion in Millers Creek is about a 20 minute drive. "
