The elevator situation is horrendous. We've never experienced this anywhere else. Also, we were never told we had to take the trash out. If you don't take it out, you'll be charged $60. We don't know yet if they will charge us for that. We read it in an email that we didn't read until a day after we checked out. What kind of hotel makes you take your trash out?

Arrived 15 minutes early and was told the room "wasn't ready" but would be ready at check-in time. 15 minutes later it was miraculously ready. Even the desk clerk seemed to know this was just some kind of game. Signs in the room said there was a possible $150 fine for flushing toilet paper down the toilet and instruct you to put your used TP in the trash. Gross, and if the plumbing is that fragile, it's time for an upgrade. Arrival just didn't feel very welcoming in general although the staff was excellent.There's not a lot of nightlife within walking distance but there are many nice restaurants. It's only a short walk to the beach and they have shuttles running as well. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I paid for service that I never received. I stayed for 3 days I had to buy my own toilet paper because service never came back. Parking was over rated. Long waiting time to get car. Super long time waiting for the elevator. I had to lug my luggage down 15 flights of stairs. And the bed sheets left me with a skin rash. I was not happy But the view was nice

I can't give a good review because of two reasons: noise and valet parking. I don't have any complaints about the property owners or staff working at the resort including the parking staff. The rooms at this resort are advertised as soundproof. Well, the noise from the outside was pretty well suppressed. I was in a room that had a connection to the neighboring room through a door. That door didn't have sound insulation whatsoever. It's like I was living with my neighbors. I'm someone who likes peace and quiet, so this was a big problem. Valet parking seems to be a scam although the staff are nice people. You have to drive your car through the most difficult segment of the garage by yourself before you get to the valet station. If they resort wants to extort extra cash out of the guests, they can just charge for parking. The best option, of course, is to make it free. Valet makes getting your car a hassle. Plus, if you forget something in the car, you need to ask for your keys and promise you won't drive away.

As soon as you get there the staff is unpleasant. They immediately charge you an obscene amount for “resort Fees” then tell you there is no maid service for 5 days of my stay. One roll of toilet paper and take your own garbage out or you will be charged. The pool is extremely small for 2 large buildings to share, so it was always packed full of kids. The elevators were somewhat working only 2 but extremely slow- so we had to use the stairs to 8th floor daily. The beds were concave in the middle obviously needed to be replaced! Way too expensive for what you got. To top it all off our plastic key card fell behind fridge so they charged us for it because we only returned on. No parking you have to valet $$$ xtra. I would Never recommend this place to an enemy!!! Terrible 👎👎

A Truly Disappointing Stay at Beachwalk Resort My recent stay at Beachwalk Resort was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place was far from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for. The room was shockingly small and felt more like a cramped closet than a comfortable space. To make matters worse, it was dirty, dust on the furniture, stains on the sheets, and a general sense of neglect. The air conditioning didn’t work, leaving the room either freezing cold or uncomfortably stuffy, depending on the time of day. Housekeeping was a joke. There was no soap or shampoo provided, and when I called for room service, it took hours for anyone to respond only to deliver subpar service. The management was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no interest in resolving the issues. The resort itself was poorly designed for its size. With nearly 300 rooms, there were only two elevators, leading to endless waits and frustration. On top of that, there were frequent electricity issues in the rooms, with lights flickering and outlets not working. Overall, Beachwalk Resort failed on every level. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.
