Located in the lively university city of Freiburg im Breisgau, the Messe Freiburg has been an important institution for over 50 years. Today it hosts a wide variety of trade and consumer events, which range from international technology trade conferences to fun fairs and car shows. Take the family to one of the bi-annual Freiburger Mess funfairs. Held in the open-air grounds of the exhibition space, it is the largest funfair in the region and is attended by 170,000 people.
Some half a million people visit around 35 trade fairs, exhibitions and events every year at the Messe Freiburg. Concerts, TV shows, major sporting and cultural events, conferences and fairs open to the public join the line-up of significant trade fairs. Attend one of the special interest fairs such as the Plaza Culinaria food fair, the Gebäude Energie Technik construction fair, or the IMMO property fair.
