We stayed here due to my daughter, getting married at The Grand Ivory in Leonard. I would highly recommend this for any family families coming from out of town for this reason. "Heather was so accommodating for the dates we needed for my son’s wedding. We traveled all the way from CT. The detail in the decor made us feel right at home and very comfortable. "I had a wonderful week-long stay at this farmhouse in McKinney. The house sits on almost 80 acres of beautiful pastures with around 30 cows and bulls (my count at the time) roaming freely in them. Kali the cat roams in and out of the house and is very affectionate and friendly. It’s a great place to enjoy nature, and yet downtown McKinney is a short drive (10-15 minutes) away. I would certainly stay here again."

"I will give this place five stars because the hosts were very commutative and gracious, also the place was adorable and in a great location. I will say however, the ad does not state that it’s an attached duplex home, (we found out after we booked) the adjoining neighbors are thumpy (kids I’m assuming) and they leave their porch light on all night long, which lights up the one room like broad daylight. I would suggest black out curtains, as I had to use a sleep mask to be able to get any rest. "
