Are you looking for a quiet retreat to rejuvenate your spirit with nature surrounding you in the woods? Do you want to escape from the city within minutes? We are located minutes from downtown Rogue River.

Come experience the nearby wild Rogue River's recreation area, the fresh woodland smells and wildlife surrounding you! Our cozy mountain hideaway is the perfect spot to come enjoy nature and the mountain views. You may see deer, wild turkeys, fox or other animals coming to the pond for a drink. Or sit by the fire pit listening to frogs and crickets at night while eating smores.

Beautiful setting. The Cabin is comfy and beautifully decorated. There are numerous "extras". This amazing host has thought of everything and more. This is the best VRBO property we have ever booked. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Quiet Hillside Retreat Perfect for Relaxing
I had a great time staying at Rose’s guest cottage. Her property was remote and extremely relaxing, and I greatly enjoyed reading and napping on the hammock. There are a number of great spot to go to close by, and Crater lake is a few hours away. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect Little Cabin
This is the perfect place for one or two people looking to have a quiet and peaceful stay! The cabin is lovely, very clean, and stocked with everything you might need and then some. Rosie is the perfect hostess and the homemade meal waiting for us was delicious and a welcome bonus for tired travelers. Such a relaxing spot with only the sound of the pond and nature, yet various towns nearby should you want to explore.

We loved the soup and bread upon arrival. The amenities and attention to details were the best we have ever experienced. We especially loved the outdoor areas. Not only a deck but also an area to enjoy nature. This area had chairs.comfy rockers, picnic table,firepit and an unbelievable view

Rosie was a great host & more importantly just a good kind person who cares very much about her guests. We loved the cabin & wish we could have stayed there a few more days. I'm so glad we picked this location traveling between Crater Lake & the Redwoods. I would highly recommend this Woodland Paradise to anyone else that would be looking to stay in the area. Rosie's was a perfect vacation cabin! She thought of everything and the grounds were so beautiful. Flowers and birds and fresh morning air! I am in love with Rosie's property. She provided DVDs, ingredients for s'mores, and had a fire pit ready to go. We even saw a herd of deer. This spot was perfect for adults looking to relax and enjoy nature. Kids might feel a little cramped, so come prepared with things to keep little hands busy. The bathroom was a wee bit small, but very usable. 5 stars are not enough for Rosie's place. It was fantastic.

The cabin, or should I say tiny house was so great, everything was there, every detail was thought of. Rosie was always a text away and provided us with local tips. The bed was great, the welcoming soup and chili even bettet. Sitting in the sun / shade and unwinding in the hammock really got us relaxed. So great! Thanks so much for your hospitality, Rosie. Beautiful, Peaceful Retreat!
Rosie's Cabin is in a beautiful setting and is creatively decorated and furnished. Some of our family came and visited us for dinner, and we had a memorable evening sitting around the gas fire table. We enjoyed the Koi pond, garden swing, and large hammock; and even made s'mores. Rosie is very welcoming and helpful. This is retreat worth coming to again and again.

Lovely Home
Rosie couldn't have been more welcoming. Her cabin is cozy, inviting and she certainly thought of everything! From homemade soup and bread upon our arrival, to all the little extras in the kitchen. If you forgot it she probably had it stocked for you. The setting was lovely and very peaceful in the evening. We even got to go for a short hike on her property. Rosie answered questions we had about the local area and made herself available without invading our space. Thank you so much for providing a comfortable, cozy place for us to spend our anniversary!

A private paradise is a good word to describe the land around the cottage
Come to Rose's cottage and you'll feel really pampered and cared for. She has everything you may need taken care of. It has air conditioning. That was great in the hot summer days. You will feel so comfortable and peaceful on your visit to the woodland cottage. There is a T. V. if you feel the need for entertainment. With Dish Entertainment and DVD player too. All I can say is you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the great stay 🌹

First time using VRBO.. a worried on what I would get. The best experience in a long time. Rosie is so warm and welcoming. Her attention to the details is truly amazing and a pleasant surprise in this day and age. Beautiful room, with amazing surroundings; different little areas to enjoy just in the yard. Afternoon nap on the hammock, hot cocoa by the fire at night, and lunch with the squirrels. AMAZING! close to hiking trails, Rogue River and small craft breweries. Definitely would love to go back and enjoy with a longer trip.

Absolutely Wonderful!!,
I would recommend this lovely place to anyone! My husband and I have stayed at several VRBO’s. This was our favorite! The place was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean! Rosie our hostess was so sweet! She had soup and bread waiting for us when we arrived! It was fabulous. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Rosie had champagne for us!!! She even had food for us in the refrigerator for the morning! Unbelievable! There is a beautiful fire seating area in an amazing setting. Rosie was so nice and fun to talk to. If ever we pass through again, we will definitely stay here! Thanks Rosie for everything!!

Peaceful Paradise
This peaceful cabin has become our annual (sometimes bi-annual) place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy self-care time. Rosie greeted us when we arrived and gave us an update on what’s new around the property. We could smell the homemade bread while walking up the stairs and her famous veggie soup is the perfect way to wind down from a long drive. This property is a little oasis. We’ve enjoyed many nights star gazing by the fire pit, swinging on the hammock, bird watching and even woke up to snow top mountains on a past trip. It’s also a great location to enjoy activities within the Grants Pass area, Medford and beyond. On this trip we checked out a few antiques stores in Grants Pass and then took a beautiful drive on highway 238 to Jacksonville. We stopped at Pennington Farms for some baked goods and enjoyed a delicious lunch at La Fiesta Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville. Rosie’s heart overflows with kindness and she makes every stay more special than the last. We are blessed and grateful that she continues to share her slice of heaven with us! We feel the love. See you soon 😊

Hidden Gem; So Much to Love!
My husband and I stayed at Rosie's Woodland Paradise for our visit to the Crater Lake area. Rosie is a welcoming hostess who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. Rosie's attention to detail makes her guests feel comfortable and welcome during their visit to her woodland paradise. Upon entering the apartment, we were greeted with the smell of freshly baking bread and soup made by Rosie (a treat she offers her guests who stay several days). She has done a wonderful job decorating with nice touches which make the apartment comfortable and homey. The apartment is well-appointed with kitchen necessities and bathroom amenities. Rosie has thought of everything so no worries if you forget something. The apartment is clean and cozy. The bed is comfortable. Free wifi is available. The outdoor space is as lovely as the apartment. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit enjoying the woodland and mountain views while chatting with Rosie, sipping wine from a local vineyard, and listening to the frogs and the gurgling pond. Rosie's Woodland Paradise is close to numerous vineyards and was about an hour drive from Crater Lake. My husband and I highly recommend Rosie's Woodland Paradise, a home away from home.

Other VRBO home owners take notice!!!!
Rose's cottage surpassed my expectations. I've stayed at many VRBOS but this was my absolute favorite, if only every owner showed the pride of ownership as rose does. think a private bed and breakfast with a personal touch. I was coming to the area for busienss/work. Rose communicated with me and let me know chili and corn bread would be there when I arrived, already above and beyond what I was expecting. Upon entering my code in the key pad the cottage looked exactly like the photos. Sometimes photos are misleading, but not in this case. The property is beautifully manicured and the cottage spotless. It was wonderful arriving to a home cooked meal, after driving such a distance I hate going back into town for food. the fridge was stocked with an assortment of items, there were snacks, and even the bathroom had all the things i frequently forget; ibuprofen, a toothbrush, make up remover etc. If I didn't know better i would think rose ran a bed and breakfast before but no, she just loves what she does and it shows. It was like visiting family without the awkward conversations about politics or dealing with a crazy aunt. Due to being extremely sick on this trip I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the fire pit, Rose's company, or the hammock but the property is quiet, relaxing, and although you're close to the main house there is no lack of privacy. If you're a work out buff she has a great driveway for a morning run or walk. Last night I went through her guestbook and clearly I am not the only one who felt at home. Rose is going to be extremely successful and I will be staying here everytime I come back for work. She sets the bar high so be prepared once you stay here no other vrbo will match her.
