McLoughlins Beach - Seaspray Coastal Reserve Tours and Activities

Tony the owner was an absolute star. Breakfast was perfect and fresh (hot bread and pastries were great). Highly recommend staying here. Lots of things to do/eat within 15 minutes. If I’m ever in the area again, this will be my first pick of the bunch.

Location is great. Free hotel parking is fabulous. Reception people are lovely. The 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and a balcony was physically terrific and very spacious, BUT, the overall condition of the apartment was quite poor. Stained and dirty sofas, covered with flimsy sofa covers - that revealed a patch work of stains when they fell off. Scuff marks and damage all over the white walls. Stains and marks all over the carpet in the bedrooms. Not bad stains on the carpets, but enough to be "off putting". We had a "deluxe" room, but the apartment did not feel "deluxe". It felt sparse and basic, with an undercurrent of not really being overly clean. The utensils and crockery and pots and pans for the kitchen are far too few, and far too basic. There were no extra pillows or blankets which was disappointing. Trying to park, so you can check in and check out is a nightmare - as there is just no where to park. All spots are taken, unless you drive around in circles and finally find a spot, then walk four or five minutes to reception. Overall... I was quite disappointed. It was not, by any means "unacceptable", but I definitely would not go back.

Great location in the city centre area. Plenty of food options, nice small balcony to watch the street activity, close to trams, easy to find, easy in/out of building, felt secure/safe, very spacious unit, could feel the city vibe.
