The house was well stocked, incredibly clean, and exactly as described. The location was also very convenient for local hikes and downtown.We will definitely return in the summer or fall. "

"Everything was exactly as described and hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond. The jacuzzi tub has a beautiful view and the kitchen was generously large! Driveway was plowed when it snowed (very helpful because it is long!) and the heated floors kept our feet warm on our winter trip."

Mitch plowed and shoveled the driveway several times for us. They provided every amenity that we needed to prepare our meals, I look forward to going back!!"

"This was home base for a Thanksgiving with family. The house is absolutely spotless, with comfortable modern rooms and lots of space to spread out. The house is set back from the road with a secluded backyard with a deck and a fenced in area, you’d never know the grocery store and mall are 5 minutes away, and downtown Ithaca is a short drive. The kitchen was well stocked, and communication with Laurie the owner was excellent. "

This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table). "We loved our stay at Ron & Rita's place. The house was just perfect for our family. Location is great and close to Cornell University. The house was lovely and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Our fur baby loved the fenced background and enjoyed playing in it. Ron & Rita were very responsive hosts. Highly recommend their place! "

"Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. "

"This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced."

We stayed here as a family supporting a cousins graduation and we're so impressed with the set up of the house , how many amenities it had to offer, and the absolutely beautiful view of the lake! It is such a cozy house and is Everything you need to cook and enjoy a stay away from home! Though it looks modest outside the house, it is huge and can hold so many guests. It is a beautiful property and we hope to stay again in the summer to enjoy the lake! "

"I was looking for a property with many separate bedrooms, not one listed as "sleeps 5+" but actually is just couches and an air mattress and this fit perfectly for a group of friends. The house was clean and spacious and bright. No A/C in summer is slightly tough and it's a little further from town but the property was beautiful and the fire pit and grill were great. Would book again!"

"…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also.
