"Very clean and comfortable house. Our family did not feel like we were staying in a rental property. The lake is located in a picturesque valley. The location is convenient to dining and shopping in Skaneateles. The house is located at the southern portion of Lake Otisco. This part of the lake has a mud bottom which does make the water very murky. The host is very accommodating. "

"Pleasant cottage, AC was very comfortable. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, yard games, floating deck and fire pit. Extreme care is needed with steep, narrow lakefront stairs. We loved historic downtown, highly recommend Harriet Tubman Museum in Auburn & Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse. The gravel lane to home was partially washed out, narrow & very steep, needs new gravel, grading & crowning which is responsibility of all homeowners on lane, all or 4-wheel drive is recommended. "The house is a gem--it is cozy, clean, comfortable, and everything we could have needed was there. The view of the lake is perfect. "

"Cozy little house was perfect for my teen and our dog for a few days to be able to do a college visit, explore town and some nearby hikes. 15-20 minute drive to almost everywhere we wanted to go. Fenced in yard that doesn't share a boundary with another yard and backs into the woods felt very private. Easy to find and code in/out through the garage. "
