Cozy And Quiet Retreat!

Tucked into the woods, off the beaten path--a perfect place to chill! All the amenities, including wifi, cable, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and gas grill. 10 miles from Blue Ridge, GA. 3 miles from Ocoee River and whitewater rafting. Built by my son, it is not fancy, but very comfortable. A small creek runs through the property, with a firepit/sitting area nearby. One bed, one bath. No shower. Bed and bath are in the loft. New queen-sized bed with Beauty Rest mattress. A great retreat for couples, or for a writer/artist. Go hiking, biking, rafting, shopping, antiquing, fishing, sightseeing or to fairs and festivals during the day, then retreat to the peace and quiet of the rain forest! (Comfortable sofas accommodate 2 more, if needed.)

Very cozy home, wonderful instructions, excellent amenities. My sister and I came to raft on the Ocoee, this home was so convenient., and we enjoyed the fire pit after coming in from the river.

It was great!
We got there and it was clean, there was plenty of silverware and extra blankets if we had wanted them, and we didn't have any problems with the property. I'd love to return for a longer stay next time!

The cabin is cozy and tranquil and just a short drive to town. This was a long over due trip for just the twonof is. There is a lot to explore in McCaysville and Blue Ridge. Be sure to grab lunch at Pat's Country Kitchen. The food is amazing and the people are just as cool.

If you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway to enjoy nature at an affordable price you’ll like this one! The home is clean and cozy. Our host Sheila was great and so considerate! Bad weather was threatened the weekend we were there, so she made sure we were ok and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our weekend!

Wonderful cabin in the Woods
Me and my children had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was clean, cozy had anything really that we needed. We could’ve asked for a better cabin and host. The only negative aspect was the neighbor that was close had three dogs that ran in front of my car every time we passed their house.

The area was great. There is a park close by and short drive to the mountains. It's a ghost town on Tuesday and Wednesday when the train isn't running so keep that in mind when you plan your stay

Cute place tucked away in wooded area. I think we were turned off by a rather rundown area of town we had to drive thru to get there , but that shouldn’t reflect on the home. Our stay was pleasant. It’s was clean and comfortable.

It is somewhat remote but private and I slept so well. No light pollution. Neighbors are not far so I felt safe. I did not use the outdoor area much. I brought a portable fence for my dog, so I was able to close the deck. Easy no fuss gas furnace made the cooler weekend very cozy inside (second week of October) A lot of books. Owner is friendly and responsive.

Perfectly cozy cabin
I came for a quick weekend getaway and was so glad to be able to find this cabin as I had a dog and also didn't want to spend too much for such a short trip. This cabin was perfect from location to how cozy it felt. I came in late in the evening and had a hard time locating the cabin in the dark but the owner was super helpful and called me the moment I texted. Will definitely keep it in mind if I return to the area in the future.

The cabin was beautiful and the property it sat on was magical. The neighbors up the road that you have to drive by to turn into the property had two large dogs that ran up to our car and scared us. It’s unfortunate that guests have to drive by this house because of the loose dogs but also they have old cars and junk laying in the yard.

Nice deco and property condition, arrived late at night and it took me a minute to figure out the downhill to the property but once familiar with the area, it was an easy deal. There's a couple properties that hide this quiet retreat into the woods, next to creek.

This property has all the comforts you need for an escape to Blueridge! The kitchen is stocked with some necessities which came in handy when I needed some olive oil for cooking. The bed was comfortable. The outdoor area was nice. Sheila was very responsive to communication leading up to and during our stay. Please BE AWARE when you drive up to the property on the main road before Abbey’s Road there is a house with 3 dogs who the owners let run into the street right in front of your car. So be on the lookout.
