"The property was ideal for us, great enclosed garden for our dog. Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is quite rustic which is reflected in the price. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone with a dog. Very close to Sarlat which is beautiful . A short walk up the hill brought us to a lovely village and church which was beautiful.Follow the yellow signs in the village for a lovely circular walk back to the property via a bar, shop and cafe."

"We had a wonderful holiday. The house is very comfortable with everything you need including air con in all of the rooms. There is also a large smart TV which the kids made a lot of use of when they weren’t in the pool. The pool area is lovely. We spent a lot of time there. Johanna met us at check in and again when we left. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is great, a couple of mins drive into Sarlat. Even on busy market days there are some back roads that lead right to the car...

"Week towards end of August was spent lazing by and in the pool or jacuzzi followed by BBQs in the evening. Rooms were perfect and all amenities close by. The only slight issue was the very steep drive from the entrance up to the villa but everything else was perfect."

"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"This is a great two-bedroom, two-bathroom place to stay in Sarlat (though note that the second bedroom / bathroom is up some stairs).There is metered parking out front (free at night), and it's a quick walk to all the wonderful restaurants and shops in Sarlat. The hosts live next door and are very accommodating. You will enjoy yourself if you stay here!"

"La p'tite bergerie is a beautiful gite, and has everything you need to make your stay homely and comfortable. It is set in an absolutely lovely area, very peaceful and relaxing, but is ideally located to many other towns, villages and sights this part of the Dordogne has to offer. Beatrice and Remy are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much for them, we really felt a friendship has been formed, so much so that we will be returning in December to enjoy their gite at Christmas time...can't wait!...

"Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour chez Gisèle. La maison est géniale, très bien équipée et très agréable. La terrasse couverte permet de profiter de l’extérieur tout en étant protégé de la pluie et du soleil. La piscine est parfaite avec un grand store pour se protéger du soleil, très appréciable en cas de canicule. Gisèle est une hôte adorable, d’une discrétion absolue mais toujours disponible et à l’écoute. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!"

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
