Aleda House on the Myall Lakes

The beautiful and unique Myall Lakes National Park offers something for everyone but particularly for those seeking tranquil, nature-based escapes that include bushwalking, kayaking and bird watching.

Aleda House is located on what must be one of the most picturesque locations on the Mid North Coast. Sitting high on Mayers Point & surrounded by the unique Myall Lakes National Park, Aleda House boasts spectacular lake views & abundant bird life. This very comfortable holiday home exudes the warmth of days gone by whilst still offering modern conveniences. Located close to the Lakes Way, Aleda House is just a short drive from Bungwahl, the beautiful Seal Rocks beach & the township of Bulahdelah.
Aleda House is perfect for those seeking truly unique kayaking & paddling adventures but there is plenty of room to park your boat if motorised watercraft is your thing. Local boat ramps are located at Violet Hill (sealed) and Neranie (unsealed) for Myall Lakes, and Brambles Reserve (sealed) for Smiths Lake. There is also an unsealed boat ramp at the end of Mayers Point (4WD access) suitable for small boats only. Mobile phone reception is strong for most networks.

1 week stay @ Aleda House
The house is in a beautiful quiet location with a wonderful view. Charming house well stocked and cosy and surrounding garden very well maintained. Friendly neighbour on the road directly next to the house, their dog was a little bit noisy at times. We couldn't invite other family members that were holidaying nearby over for a meal or coffee as the rules were quite strict about only permitting the guests that have booked, that was a bit disappointing. The beaches are 20mins away and spectacular. Overall we had a great week away and would definitely book the house again, hopefully soon!

New favourite place in NSW?
Idyllic location. Pretty gardens. Lovely antique furniture. Spacious, clean, well-equipped. Beaches not too far away and plenty to do for our 2 teens. It could just be our new favourite holiday place in NSW!

Lovely and relaxing place.
Glorious location. Attention to detail. Comfortable. Only drawback was the 20 minute drive each way to pick up key and deliver it back to Blueys beach.
