With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. "The cottage is wonderful in how eclectic it is. There are definitely several additions on the house, giving it lots of nooks to explore. It is a peaceful place to rejuvenate in, close to Yarmouth and other locations to vist. It was fun watching both the tide and the fog come and go. Had everything we needed for a four day stay. "

Everywhere we turned, while touring our home away from home for the next 3 nights was perfectly placed, decorated tastefully and something we didn’t know we needed while there!! "OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going. We both walked in and said "Wow, Oh my god"! And it was still dark, so we couldn't see the view, but we could hear it. "This trip was based on our little dog who is 15 so we needed a pet friendly place to stay. This filled all the boxes, a place for him to run around and be safe. The host was very accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. Only downside was the bedroom was a little tight but all in all highly recommend."
