"We loved our experience at Murphy's Place! We came up here for a Birthday/Valentine's Day weekend vacation, and we stayed busy the whole time! There is so much to do around the VRBO. Lots of wineries, breweries, shopping, and more!!! Charlottesville is a quick 20 mins away or so and Wintergreen Resort is about the same, but the opposite direction. We cannot wait to stay here again in the near future!! Big thanks to the hosts for making us feel comfortable and at home! "

The room was clean , the bed was comfortable, the het tub works great as well as the tv and fire place. My only complaint is that theirs we strange wet smell that comes and goes in the bathroom when the hot water is running."

"We stayed at the house for two nights. The check in process was quite simple, no problems getting into the house or for check out. The house is in a terrific location with beautiful views, near hikes and the Shenandoah drive. We loved the hot tub and the set up of the house with two living areas. It was clean and well appointed. We really appreciated that the coffee pods and soaps were available on site. We did not visit any of the amenities at Wintergreen, but it all looked nice. "

"Azra & Luke's loft was a perfect place to stay for me and my gf while we did a 3 day skiing trip at Wintergreen. The loft is about 25 minutes away from the top of Wintergreen, but it was a nice neighborhood to stay in compared to being packed into condos on top of the mountain and is affordable for young people. "This property was so nice! Has everything you could ask for. It’s nuzzled in behind 2 other properties but still had privacy. The location was perfect as well. It was about 10-15 minutes a lot of the breweries and wineries, as well as a grocery store (IGA) which has everything that you’d need. Jeremy was super quick at responding. Will definitely think about staying here again in the future. "

"The date of my stay was Sun Feb 9 - Tues Feb 11, 2025. It was a great place to stay with beautiful views. Our stay was short. We were there for my son to participate in WASI- Wintergreen Alpine Special Invitational. Travel to the Mountain Inn for ski competition and celebration was easy. I really enjoyed having the full kitchen so we could make breakfast each day. The washer and dryer were helpful for keeping ski bibs clean and dry."

"We could not have had a more wonderfully refreshing stay in this beautiful spot on the Piney River in the charming Chestnut House. Maria’s thoughtfulness as a host cannot be understated. The home is supplied with every need and comfort. We slept soundly, enjoyed the fire pit, fishing, naps in the hammock, coffee in the front porch rockers, reading on the deck by the river, hikes from the house, and cooking in the beautifully stocked kitchen. We cannot wait to return! "
