"We've stayed at John Muir hotel in Martinez before and noticed they have done some nice upgrades to the bathroom. We always feel comfortable there and it suits our needs. Unfortunately the elevator wasn't working and we had to carry our luggage upstairs. Thank goodness it was only one floors. The staff is very friendly and it's a good location, close to a shopping plaza."
