"We enjoyed our fall getaway at this cabin! Beautiful views of Lake Superior from all over the property. Location was perfect - we explored Marquette, Pictured Rocks, and went on a few good hikes. The cabin is rustic but appointed well, cozy, and very clean. Bonus: we had big waves and were able to see the northern lights during our stay!"

Robin and her family live in a separate house on the property but the carriage house is completely private and cozy. 15 minutes to downtown Marquette and 30-40 minutes to Munising/Pictured Rocks. We came for the fall foliage (we were a little on the late side; Robin said the second weekend in October is best), but we still had a lot of great color and hiking. "

"Clean, older cabin. The picture shows a simple white sided cabin. It does not show the cabin 6 feet to the side, with all kinds of stuff in the the yard. Also, the area has some nice smaller cabins, and some pretty run down cabins. Inside, just fine, outside, not so nice "

"We had a very relaxing and fun adventure on our trip and in staying at the cottage in Au Train ! The cottage was very clean and well organized & had everything we needed. The owners were very nice and welcoming and easy to communicate with. The location was great for exploring many different activities in the area ,including hiking , fishing , swimming and visiting the nearby Pictured Rocks! There is so much more we wanted to do , but didn’t seem to have enough time ! We plan to come back...
