"Cute western decor. Comfortable beds. Cabin was well stocked. Quiet and private. Very close to Yosemite’s Southgate and close to a lot of fun things to do. There were several big steps to get to the front door. We are hikers so that wasn’t a problem for us. "

"Bear Crossing is a cozy house with lots of thought put into making guests feel comfortable. Upon arrival it was clean, welcoming, and easy to access. PROS: It is on a quiet Wawona neighborhood road. It was a nice hike to the swinging bridge and Chilnualna Falls from the home. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. The best I have ever come across in all of the VRBO homes we have stayed in. CONS: The stairs in this home are quite steep. Our teenage kids even commented that the stairs scared them. The management company fell a bit short of our expectations. They were responsive when the water heater pilot went out twice, but they were unable to help when we realized there was no cable tv (DISH) available. Apparently roofers had been out working on the home recently and had disconnected the satellite dishes. We actually found them laying on the ground, under the deck. During our week long stay, there was no cable TV available. I understand we are in the mountains and there to enjoy nature, but my 82 year old mother had planned to watch the Olympics and other programs while we were out on adventures. This left her with little to do when we were away. The property manager stated we should get credit for no cable tv available. I reached out to Yosemite Scenic Wonders multiple times regarding a credit. They still have not responded or even apologized for the inconvenience or loss of amenity. We will be sure to stay in a Redwoods property next summer. "

"We just wrapped up a 4 night stay at this property with 6 adults and 1 child (age 3). The property was perfect for our family, providing us with enough space to spread out but, large enough common areas for us to enjoy dinners and games together. The location of the property was ideal for us since it was inside of the park and conveniently located near a small store and a hiking trail. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you might need as well as extremely clean. All and all this property helped our family to have a one-of-a-kind vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the country. Thanks for such an outstanding listing and experience!"
