"From check-in to check-out the service was great! Room was very clean and comfortable for our long weekend stay. We enjoyed the views just wished it was warmer to sit in the rocking chairs right outside our door and have our morning coffee or evening coffee. So many things to do and see. We chose to eat at local places to help with local economy after the Hurricane affected so many. A walmart is just over the hill as well as so many wonderful places. We ate at Clyde's (long time family diner) and decided next time to share a plate as portions are huge. Downtown was fun to explore as well. Small scale Gatlinburg is what it reminded us of. More our speed. We enjoyed the 2 exhibits at the Museum of the Cherokee People. Need to explore the river/park area though next time. Went to our 1st gun and knife show. Learned to take cash. Went to 1 antique store. A LOT of stuff and will check out another next time. Saw snow tubing area with lots of families enjoying the opportunity. Drive up and back was a nice drive. We will be back and recommend this hotel highly!"
