A well cared for back house in a vibrant community just steps from the lake. Hosts are responsive and friendly! And access to bikes for riding the paths on the lake was perfect for us to get around for our family getaway. Definitely recommend this little gem.

Excellent stay! The cottage was clean, comfortable, quiet, and roomy, and it had everything we needed for a pleasant two-week stay. The location is perfect for walks along the shoreline park, to restaurants with lake and sunset views, to the interesting shops on Girod Street, and to the farmers market. The neighborhood is very safe and we had no concerns at all about walking at night. The hosts are wonderful people and wonderful hosts; they offered helpful recommendations for activities and restaurants, and were friendly and warm even while being respectful of our privacy. We highly recommend this place.

Great stay!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Vincent and his wife were excellent hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed. The guest house was located in a well-maintained, quiet neighborhood. If I had one suggestion, it would be to maybe replace the bedsheets with new ones. The sheets we slept on were pretty worn. Looking forward to staying at this property again!!

Weekend stat
This was the perfect place for our family when in town for my Mom’s funeral. It was a wonderful location, very close to the lake which allowed for peaceful walks in a beautiful area. Daniele was so kind, met us at our car and walked us into their charming guesthouse on arrival. We met the whole sweet family while there, including Wolfgang their adorable pup! This is a quiet, safe and welcoming place in a beautiful and quaint S. Louisiana neighborhood on the lake. And very affordable! Thank you Daniele, Vincent and Wolfgang!

The guest house was just what we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is one block from Lake Pontchatrain which is beautiful. The hosts, Daniell and Vincent were warm and welcoming. All we had to do was ask and they were very helpful. Would we go back…absolutely!

Anniversary/Family Get Away
We had a wonderful time in Mandeville. The cottage was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. Enjoyed meeting the owner and getting suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We will definitely make plans for another trip to your wonderful cottage and town.
