"Friendly and polite service let down by a very old, tired and dated building. Convenient location for grabbing a taxi around the city and there are some good restaurants nearby (Marie Min for yummy vegtarian food and Rainforest for Thai and for doing laundry!). I wouldn’t return until the rooms are upgraded and all bathrooms are equipped with separate showers - having a shower over the toilet in an old wet style bathroom is not pleasant and does not match the photos. Breakfast is bland. "

"You may not remember this hotel in a year or two, but it will meet all of your needs. It's located in busy Chinatown on a major road near the railway station. They have a Chinese style buffet breakfast, decent wifi, clean rooms, and offer a range of services. The staff were very professional and helped me arrange transportation and a day trip. My one complaint is that the water wasn't very hot, but everything else was satisfactory."

"Positive: Staff is very friendly, pro-active and helpful, even for Myanmar standards. Breakfast is pretty good with the usual rice, noodles, fried vegetables, soup, rubber bread, eggs, bananas. Rooms have mosquito meshing. Negative: The rooms are awful. They are dated and in desperate need for a make-over (when did they last paint?!), especially the bath rooms. Cleaning is very superficial. I was careful what to touch and pretty engrossed. Rooms are so small, I can't see how 2 people would fit...

"Overall I don’t know that I recommend this hotel. First, the good: the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating, it was easy and reasonably priced to book a private taxi through the hotel for day trips, and the breakfast buffet was really good. The bad: it was next to impossible to get any sleep during our three night stay. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything next to and above you. It’s also located on a busy street and next to train tracks (with constant honking by both...
