Went 1st March. Magnificent pool closed for 2 weeks to prep for summer. This wouldn’t have been too bad except the place was full of young/teenage German football teams who then crowded out the only other (not freezing cold) pool that you could swim in! This winding down also affected the non buffet restaurants- ie only buffet restaurant open most times. Avoid this place out of season!

"The hotel is very old. The photos on Expedia does not match what you’d expect in person. The front desk staff are incredibly rude and do not treat guests well. They act like they’re being bothered if you come up. In general this place must have been a great hotel 25 years ago but it’s not worth staying ..."
