"Positives: incredible coral right off the beach, beautiful pool area, lovely water, calm and quiet, great fire show (only held once during our four night stay) Negatives: bad value at $400/night for a very basic room, few free activities (most don’t happen - when asked why, the staff just shrug their shoulders), paid activities are good but overpriced, water is awful - hence tea, coffee etc is also not great, stingy on quality of bread and juice for breakfast, diner is overpriced. "Musket Cove was just what I was looking for in a holiday with a perfect balance between Fiji hospitality, their culture and the commercial aspect of resorts. "Overall the island was very satisfying and staff were very accommodating. The food has big portion for lunch and the buffet had great selections. The only downfall i would say will be the flies. While i do understand that it is an island on its own, however when we were at the pool or having meal, we literally had to use one hand to just get the flies out of the way, this really was demotivated us in enjoying the meal . "

"The Nakelo Resort was absolutely fantastic and surprised us with so many things to do. From going on a daily boat trip to feed the fish and snorkel, to daily activities like cocktail making and feeding turtles to mini golf and tepanyaki it was the perfect place to stay with little ones. Even though we weren’t there as long as we’d wanted to be (due to our schedule, nothing about the hotel), the staff went out of their way to make everything spectacular. There was a special cake for my husband’s birthday dinner dessert, dinner delivered to our room after a late arrival the day we landed in Fiji, and a goodbye song the morning we left. "Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The only downside was the cost of the meals was a little steep when converted to Canadian $. When you are forced to eat there everyday (as no other restaurants close by) this becomes quite expensive. "
