"Lovely location; me and my daughter loved it . The walks alongside with the peacocks were a one of a kind experience. Given the landscape and location of the rooms it is not suitable for old people or people with leg/walking problems as it involves some level of walking around on uneven terrains even to reach the go cart. Given the location and peacocks I personally believe it is a very expensive stay. "

"The property is well maintained despite its age. The staff is very polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and service was quick despite many guests. I can’t recall any negatives during my one day stay here. "

"Ideal location set close to train station and temple. Staff helpful, one spoke good English. Hotel is in dire need of re-furbishment. Comfy mattress, decent aircon, WiFi adequate. Decor not great, old fashioned. Toilet and shower desperately needs refurb. Was clean but old stains remain that can’t be removed from cleaning."

"Stayed for one night. No complaints. The hotel is located close to meenakshi temple 15 -20 mins by car/auto. Staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was a bit slippery i guess a non slip mat would help but in all good. Hot and cold water was good. Comb , shaving set, towels, toothpaste& brush and other usual toiletries stuff were provided. Comfortable bed I had a good night sleep. Ac was good there is a ceiling fan as well . Modern Comfort and Excellent Service

"I had an absolutely amazing stay at Grand Madurai! From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by how beautifully renovated the hotel is. The rooms are spacious, modern, and incredibly clean, everything felt so fresh and well-maintained. The level of attention to detail is fantastic. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a traditional tulsi maalai, which added a warm and personal touch to the whole experience. The convenience of the hotel is unmatched, there’s a trendy bar that serves great drinks, and the room service was fast and efficient. What stood out the most to me was how spotless everything was, especially the bathrooms. You can tell the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The staff were also incredibly attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed and going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The overall vibe of the hotel is so inviting, and I felt truly taken care of. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave, I could’ve stayed forever!
