"My daughter and I, plus our two tiny dogs, had a wonderfully quiet and relaxing long weekend. The house is tiny but completely met our needs. The bed and living room furniture are comfy. We had one rainy day, but the roomy screened porch allowed us to enjoy the gentle rain. This is our 2nd stay at this house. We’d love to come back soon!"

"If you are looking for an awesome place to gather with family and/or friends, look no further. We gathered to celebrate our grand daughter’s graduation from Clemson. It was the perfect spot. A great space with lots to do and plenty of room to spread out. The younger adults played ping pong and darts. "Our stay by included 14 people coming from New Jersey for my daughter’s wedding. The house was well laid out. The ground level living space was perfect for all the kids (eight of them ages 16 -25), giving them separate space from the older adults. The master bedroom and bathroom were a wonderful size. The outdoor space is perfect, being the end of January we didn’t utilize it much but in the warmer weather we would have been out there all the time. The home was well stocked with bath towels,...

"My son and I were doing a tour of colleges over spring break and this was such a nice alternative to a hotel. The house is comfortable and clean and in a lovely setting. We enjoyed going out on the lake in the kayaks and sitting on the dock and listening to the birds. We would definitely come again!"

"We picked Palmlake Cottage because it was very close to our son and it was pet friendly, also access to a lake. Well it definitely surpassed our expectations, everything you would ever need was provided and the cottage itself was meticulously clean. Cliff was always available if you needed him for anything. Wonderful cabin by the water

"We had a great time staying at Cascades Inn. Michael was so friendly and welcoming, and he made sure we were comfortable with the property. There are lots of seating areas and the waterfront is awesome. The cabin itself was comfortable, but could probably benefit from a deep clean (under the beds, under the kitchen stove, etc.). We didn't have any real issues, though, and it was stocked with all the supplies we needed. My kids absolutely loved it, especially the loft area. We cooked dinner, played games, and relaxed after an afternoon hiking at Tallulah Gorge. Very close to the park, and easy to find. My kids have already said they want to come back when it's warmer."

Casual, Comfortable Lake Stay

"We stayed here as a family of 7 and really enjoyed it! We had everything we needed, the kids had the downstairs to themselves, and the location was close to town. Check in was easy, the house was clean, and they left a thorough notebook that answered all our questions and pointed us to some great hikes. We’re looking forward to our next stay here!"
