"Large, clean lobby entrance. Accommodates those with larger luggage. A comfortable place to sit to read or watch television. Polite, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff at check in. Clean rooms and a reasonable price. Good water pressure which is always a criteria of mine. Have stayed here multiple times while visiting relatives and attending events. Large parking lot and easy to find just off roadway. Eateries close by. Sparse breakfast offerings but can find something to enjoy. "

"We had a great time hanging out in the spaces provided! The pool and hot tub were amazing!"

"Has been updated since last time we were there. Family in the area so just need beds. Last time was very dated, new fridge, microwave, furniture, bed spreads. Much fresher. A bit of peeling wallpaper in bathroom but everything was fine. No 5 star place but clean place to lay your head and only pet friendly place in town."

"Conditions were excellent. Location was great with easy access to Downtown Dyersville and very close to the Heritage Trail. Really liked the security and the interior facilities were new and clean. I really was impressed with the EV charging station, We are seasoned VRBO travelers, so we are providing a few minor suggestions: should have had Kleenex boxes available in several rooms. A clock in the bedroom and bathroom would have been a plus. A daily counter cleaning product below the sink...

"The house is completely warm and inviting clean and beautiful. The property is well-maintained and we sat by the fire pit down by the creek played with Willow the dog. Everything was just wonderful and perfect! "

Second Time Stay

"This property is awesome. It was our second time here and it was just as great as the first time a few years ago. The depot has everything one would need. It is well appointed, clean and close to so many parks and nature preserves, which is what we love about the Guttenburg area.The depot has 3 TVs and soon, will have a 4th in the patio area. It has a washer and dryer, a well appointed kitchen, a large bathroom and two nice size bedrooms. Just a note, there is no dishwasher-not a problem for me. Also, bring your own hair dryer if you need one. Otherwise, it has everything! Bar-b-cue tools, games, DVD movies, even a video golf game on the porch. Guttenburg itself has a lot to see, especially where the barges travel the Mississippi. Even Dubuque is close enough or a visit.Jeff Pregler is great to work with and is quick to answer a text. He keeps the rental price reasonable and the propery in great condition.If you are going hiking, fishing, or just sight seeing in this area, "The Depot" should be your choice.But remember, you must like trains! I do.what we love to visit "

"This property is so convenient when I am visiting my grandson and his family. It is always clean. The staff are wonderful. Even a young man who was new was very kind and explained everything he was doing, and apologized for delay, which was minimal. Nice staff. "
