"This is a convenient location to enjoy historic Lockhart. The staff was excellent. The room was spacious and well equipped. The water pressure in the shower was average. The room was a bit tired, and it was very noisy (embarrassingly so) with some young-at-heart honeymooners next door if you catch my drift. Generally the pillows were lumpy, the bed uncomfortable. Despite these minor issues I would definitely stay again."

"This hotel was older, not in a secure area I felt. The TV did not work. We had the ground floor room. You walk from your car directly into your room. The mattress was ok. The shower curtain had paint spots, and the wall was scratch up in areas. The manager handed us 2 water bottles so maybe the water doesn't taste good? I booked online, not seeing the place or I probably would not have booked it. "

"The place was loud due to the bars outside of our room, but we expected it because of the central location. However, the real issue was waking up to a false fire alarm. Multiple alarm sirens and alerts went off, forcing us to climb down the stairs to the back alley at 3:30 AM. It was cold, and we were the only two there at that time. No one notified us or checked on us at all. We ended up losing 4 hours of sleep."
