Overall, near perfect. This was an overnight autumn break with the husband so we could have 24 hours to unwind. We are both in our 50s.I am known as being fussy but simply like to stay in clean and high standard accommodation when I go away, otherwise I don't enjoy it. Therefore, I always do my research and read the reviews carefully. The excellent reviews, all 5 star to date and accurate, helped me select The Graig for us and we were not disappointed in any way.
The Graig is a spacious family house in a quiet setting about 5 miles out of Ludlow, with a stunning garden and view of the countryside. There are 3 purpose-built b&b rooms in a separare annexe next to the house. Our beautifully decorated bedroom was immaculately clean with pristine bedding, comfy bed, and a superb power shower wet room. Katy and family were our hosts, welcoming us on arrival with coffee/tea and cake. Katy was very helpful in giving us advice on what to do around Ludlow and where to consider eating out. After visiting Stokesay Castle and Ludlow we slept well in our very comfortable bedroom. The following morning we were then treated, along with other guests staying there, to quite possibly the best breakfast we have ever had, absolutely delicious. Little extra touches such as quality soap in the en suite, lavender sprugs on pillows and refreshments enhanced the whole experience.
Thank you to The Graig for such an enjoyable stay:keep doing what you are doing, you are doing it so well!
