The Historic Firehouse is located within walking distance from Texas Tech University, Jones ATT Stadium, Broadway, and the Depot District. This is a fantastic area close to everything! A private patio upstairs, bedroom, game room, huge living area, and kitchen set this place apart from your normal experience. The Firehouse sports fast wi-fi for streaming needs and working guests. Perfect couples retreat in a historic building. Additional sleeping for another guest on a comfy couch downstairs.

This former firehouse has been converted into the perfect place for a short stay or longer-term visits to beautiful Lubbock. The property boasts a private upstairs bedroom with a super comfortable queen size bed and attached full bathroom. Follow the original steel staircase downstairs and you'll find a spacious living room with a 55-inch Roku equipped TV, comfortable couches that double as a second sleeping area, and classic wood walls that add to the character of this place. Please note that if you do plan on having a third guest you will need to be comfortable with them using your upstairs bathroom as this is the only one located in the property. A full kitchen is also located downstairs with everything you need to cook and eat homemade meals. This property also has a coffee maker for those early mornings with plenty of coffee available for all guests. In addition to the above, the property has a full laundry room, game room with Ping Pong Table, and a private fenced in outdoor patio area that is accessed through the overhead garage door that used to let in the old firetruck. Parking is available in the gravel/dirt driveway located on the south side of the building by the gate or on the street directly in front of the house on either side. DO NOT park in the concrete driveway west of the house. Make sure to park in the direction of traffic to avoid any tickets if parking on the street. Firehouse With A Lot of Character
This remodeled Firehouse has a lot of character. This one bedroom one bath was very comfortable with excellent air conditioning in both the downstairs and upstairs where the bedroom is. In summer weather, the heat travels upward into the second-floor bedroom, but with the large ceiling fan and the half A/C, our sleep was very comfortable. It would be difficult for a larger party to stay with only one bathroom; A couple sleeping in the bedroom would have to tolerate company going into the sleeping area to use the restroom and then have to endure any odors emanating from that use. Luckily, it was just my wife and I who rented. The Firehouse is spacious and relaxing downstairs. Stressed wood, old creaky doors, and some of the original windows give this place its character. One can see the joists and rafters above and can observe that they were handmade - not prefabricated. Bring your sleep masks because a lot of light comes through despite the window shades. We loved this Firehouse and wished we could have stayed longer. Next time we go to Lubbock, we will think of this place - and the price was unbeatable!

Peaceful Stay
Walking into the house it was very open and beautifully layed out. The ambiance of the entire house was very much old style home with a mix of modern. It's the perfect stay for a small family, couple looking for a weekend, or even a few friends over for a small get together thanks to the game room. Amazing stay overall and will heavily consider coming back!

Very fun place conveniently located between Tech campus and downtown Lubbock. Be advised the bedroom and bathroom are both located up a double flight of stairs. The bed was OK but could use an upgrade.

Unique = Amazing!
Wonderful stay at this unique location. We loved the layout and design of the place. It was warm, clean, quirky and fun! Being able to open the "garage" door and walk out to the patio, play ping pong or watch TV made this stay memorable. The communication was second to none - instructions for everything were in the handy guidebook - overall, this was a fantastic stay and we will certainly stay here again!
